Laser engraving leaves no marks on wood

  1. After importing the picture in the control software, start the engraving machine to run the engraving, check whether the laser head emits light. If not, please disconnect the power supply, check whether the laser head connection cable plug on the mainboard is loose, check whether the laser head wiring plug is loose, if the laser head emits light normally, please follow the steps below.
  1. Before engraving, check whether the laser head is focused (engraving objects of different heights requires focusing). Place the provided focusing black card on the surface of the engraved object. For a 3W laser head, manually rotate the laser head knob to focus (as shown in Figure 1). When the focal laser point appears as the smallest spot on the surface of the focusing black card, it means that the focusing is completed (as shown in Figure 2).

  1. For a 5W laser head, you need to put down the laser head focusing needle, manually adjust the laser head up and down fixing knob, let the end of the focusing needle touch the surface of the engraving machine object to indicate that the focusing is completed (as shown in Figure 3), put away the focusing needle, and manually fix the laser head (as shown in Figure 4)

  1. Cutlabx PC:Double-click the color layer to open the parameter setting interface, reduce the engraving speed, increase the engraving power, change the fill spacing from 0.1mm to 0.05mm, and set the overscan to 1mm (as shown in Figures 5 and 6 below)

  1. Mobile APP:In the APP engraving setting interface, click the "Parameter" icon to open the parameter setting interface, reduce the engraving speed, increase the engraving power, change the filling spacing from 0.1mm to 0.05mm, and set the overscan to 1mm (as shown in Figures 7 and 8)
